Great spot for a stroll. It's manic busy on hot days during the Summer, but after about 7 it's full of casual walkers and couples. Calm and not a place to ever feel threatened.

There's a great chip shop opposite it that's never as full as Burdock's and there's ice cream shops along the road before the pier too.

    Well worth a visit

One of my favorite places around Dublin. Super easy to reach by train from city center. The trip takes about 30 minutes. The Pier is very nice, amazing sight on the eye of Ireland just in front of it. You can also see seals in the water just floating like lazy dogs. Many nice shops and restaurants with great food. I bought some fantastic salmon smoked in house in one of the shops. From the pier you can also get a boat that will take you around and land you on the island in front. Highly recommended.

This place is how you would imagine a fishing village to be. It is full of tourist and locals, but the food and drinks are very yummy! The views are spectacular!

Sometimes fishy smelly but a great place to walk around and shoot some good photos. To enjoy under the clouds or on the rocks. To appreciate with someone or some seagulls.

An iconic Dublin tourist attraction, Howth on a summer day is probably the best place to go. Being a fishing Port it has a vast array of seafood restaurants and fish & chip shops. There is a ferry boat which brings you to and from Ireland's eye and also a small cruise boat which does a short cruise around Dublin Bay. On weekends there is a farmer's market with fresh artisan food products. At night time it gets lively with all types of music in the various bars all within a short walk from the train station!!!!

This was our first stop after arriving in Dublin and renting a car. Howth was a relaxing introduction to a beautiful country. Take your time to wander the pier and climb the hill to get a panorama of the town.

Scenic place with amazing views. Go here if you're in Dublin and want to see more typical Irish cliffs and nature and sea. Walking routes and fish 'n chips shops in close range.

The nature is wonderful, there is a great little lighthouse, salty smell of fish. If you're going on a walk, bring sunscreen even when it's not warm
